DESCRIPTION: Colonial Mfg. Co., Zeeland, Michigan, Model #1211, 9-tube hall clock, 8 day, time, strike and chime, three weight driven European movement playing Whittington, Westminster or Canterbury tune in maple case stained dark walnut with ornately carved full length Corinthian columns, well carved bracket feet and crest, beveled glass sides and locking beveled glass side doors accessing movement. The brass arched dial has a silvered chapter ring with applied brass numerals, cast spandrels and dial center, rolling moon phases in arch, selection for tunes or silent, and second's bit, c1930
CONDITION: this clock is in excellent original condition and has been recently serviced in 2008 [including weight polish/ lacquer]. It would make a impressive piece in buyer's front hall.
